Start with the lighting system you need at the event
A wedding flash is part of a working setup: camera, shoe connection, batteries, modifiers and sometimes off-camera lights. Choosing the Godox V1Pro S or Profoto A10 AirTTL-S for Sony therefore begins with the equipment and sequence you intend to use. A familiar brand or a faster advertised recycle figure cannot establish reliability with your particular camera.

The detachable SU-1 sub-flash offers a specific reason to investigate the model for bounce work. It is intended to add forward fill while the main head is bounced. Whether that produces the look you want depends on the room, subject distance and exposure choices; the accessory is not a guarantee that every difficult ceiling or face will be lit as intended.
Try the actual sequence you would use: switching between the relevant modes, changing a setting while holding the camera and working through a sustained series. For a photographer already using Profoto Air and Clic
Lean toward the Sony A10 when compatible Profoto Air lights and Clic modifiers are equipment you already use, or when a defined team workflow requires them. Check the current package contents and the tools you actually need. A modifier family shown in marketing is not necessarily a collection supplied in the box. Likewise, a photographer starting with one on-camera flash may place a different value on system continuity from someone coordinating several lights at an event.
The key question is what switching would change. Replacing one flash can become a larger change if it also alters triggers, modifiers, spare equipment or familiar operating steps. This page does not quote a complete system price because those requirements depend on the kit you already own.
For a Sony body with intermittent detection or misfires
Do not buy either flash on a promise that a brand change will solve an unidentified fault. The owner reports in this research do not isolate camera firmware, flash version, contact condition, settings and event duty cycle. They cannot establish a universal reliability winner for the exact pair.
Use the manufacturer guidance to confirm the correct shoe version and supported configuration, then evaluate it with your own body before a paid job. When the advertised recycle time is not enough evidence
The makers state approximately 1.3 seconds at full power for V1Pro and 1.0 second for A10. Those values are not the result of this project running the same sustained sequence, battery condition and bounce setup on both products. Check the workload you need to complete, rather than turning those two numbers into a predicted event keeper rate. If your current bounce flash fires consistently and produces the results your assignments need, keep it until a specific missing function justifies a change. Existing radio equipment, a useful fill arrangement or a verified operating preference can be valid reasons; an untested claim of better light or universal reliability is not.
