Corrections and changing evidence

A useful correction identifies the article, exact model or version, the disputed statement and a source that explains the issue. Do not include order numbers, device serial numbers or personal purchase documents.

Purchase-changing errors take priority. A correction may require updating the evidence, qualifying a conclusion, removing an affected retailer link or withdrawing a page. Editing an internal record alone does not mean an old public page has been corrected.
